Not all who study the glyphs do so out of the goodwill of the tribes. Their selfish desires have caused them to be outcast from the tribes. However, as the situation grows dire, these champions are welcomed back--albeit reluctantly--to fight along side their brothers and sisters. They agree to help, knowing that once the dest settles, these villains will have something to say about who reigns supreme over the land.
